About: John Mora

A Chicago-area entrepreneur and marketing executive with over two decades of professional experience, John Mora has owned his own copywriting, marketing and communications company since 1991. Going under the moniker 3C, the business specializes in developing consumer and business-to-business (B2B) messages that are tailor made to fit the vision of each individual client. While operating C3 for the past 21 years, John Mora has also undertaken a number of auxiliary positions with several large commercial businesses.

From 1999 to 2003, Mr. Mora served as a Marketing Manager for Mercury Technology, a division of the floral-industry giant FTD. He also worked with a former FTD executive to establish a competing retail flower business called FloralSource International. As FloralSource’s Vice President of Marketing, John Mora established a business plan, created a logo, and developed a corporate identity through advertisements, brochures, and an effective online presence. With Mr. Mora’s help, the company quickly expanded to become the third-largest floral wire services in the United States.

From 2002 to 2007, John Mora also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the East Coast fitness and beauty magazine Inhale/Exhale. In this position, he was responsible for the general project management of a publication with a quarterly circulation of 100,000 in the greater New York City area.

John Mora has also written three books on the subjects of health and fitness and served as a contributing author for the informative Ten Secrets to Marketing Success. Bylines for his published work have appeared in several respected national business magazines, including Communications World, Target Marketing, and Marketing Today.

His  books Triathlon Workout Planner  and Triathlon 101 are both available at and bookstores everywhere.
